Casa Ioana is a Romanian non-governmental organization that was established in 1995 to combat homelessness in Romania. The goal of this organization is to make a positive difference in the lives of homeless people by providing them with temporary accommodations and easy access to innovative community-based social services.
The following is some of the photography and multimedia work that I have been doing for a new website for this organization.

Nice pictures ... Makes me think back at summer of 96 when I was a volunteer for Casa Ioana.
Back in that time we stayed in a different building ... strada Zabroutului ...mai mai mai era un timp frumos.
Bbq on the roof, kids playing in the sand we needed for construction, Mauro ripped twice in 1 week, any many many more.
I did last visit Casa Ioana in the summer of 2006. Ohter people working at the office but as always a warm welcome, cup of coffee and a chat and people that help when they can.
Close to the old building we usually went to eat at a little restaurant and it was like paradise in the middle of nowhere. But after a while I did realize that the good feeling came from the volunteers and the people.
